Survey and planning
The starting point of any successful kitchen design is careful planning to make the most of the available space. Our designers will be able to create a bespoke plan which best suits the layout and space in your home whether it features a large open space which can be totally bespoke or a galley style, island feature, U shape or round the corner design of kitchen.
The planning session is always a two way process where we discover exactly how you intend to use your kitchen and will work with you to incorporate your specific ideas, inspirations and any special features. We will then create a design that suits your lifestyle, makes the best use of the space and takes on board your ‘wish list of features’ whilst working within your budget. Our budget proposals will include choices in types of cabinets, handles and appliances.
When our team start to plan your kitchen they will do a full survey which includes the position of the existing electrical and plumbing services, windows, doors and radiators. From this plan we can then work out where services may need to be moved to accommodate the new design so that qualified plumbers, heating engineers and electricians can be programmed into the project schedule.

Many homes may feature open plan designs which have unlimited space to have a totally unique layout, but for many homeowners they may be restrainted by conventional room shapes and sizes which could mean considering a layout which is based around a galley style design, island feature, U shape or round the corner design L shape design as typified to the right.
